This gorgeous vintage Persian Senneh wool kilim is a stunning display of symmetry, colour, and intricate weaving. At its heart, a series of ivory and red medallions aligned vertically provides a striking contrast against the rich navy field, which is densely patterned with small boteh (paisley) motifs in shades of pink, lavender, and green. The detailed border, framed in red with alternating diamond forms, enhances the visual rhythm and balance typical of Senneh craftsmanship from the Kurdish region of western Persia. Handwoven using fine wool and natural dyes, this kilim is admired for its precision and elegance, making it a perfect decorative piece for traditional or eclectic interiors.
