Koshō Tea Plantation ,located in Uji, Kyoto, is a tea farm that cultivates Uji tea leaves that have been passed down through generations.

Tea cultivation in this region began when the first Matazaemon started farming in the Yamashiro region of Kyoto. The sunny, fertile soil and the moderate humidity provided by the clear stream make this an ideal location for cultivating fragrant and flavorful tea leaves.
