Detailed information on Lakshmi Varahar Paper Mache Golu Bommai - 13 x 7 Inches | Giri Golu Doll/ Navaratri Golu Bomma/Gombe/Bommai

• Lord Varaha considered an avatar of Lord Vishnu, the preserver and protector. In his form as Varaha, Lord Vishnu takes the appearance of a boar. He is depicted with the head of a boar and the body of a human. The boar represents power, strength, and the ability to overcome obstacles. Lord Varaha is often portrayed with a muscular physique and a majestic aura.
• He is worshipped as the God of wealth, material prosperity, and spiritual blessings. His consort is Lakshmi. Lakshmi is the Goddess of wealth, fortune, power, beauty, fertility, and prosperity.
 • Golu is a South Indian festival celebrated during the time of Navaratri, featuring a set of steps decorated with golu bommais of various shapes and sizes. The Golu doll is not just a sight to behold; it\'s a storyteller too. It narrates tales of tradition and spirituality.
• Lakshmi Varahar appears in the Golu dolls in a sitting position with Lakshmi, holding various weapons in his four arms.
• One of the prominent stories associated with Lord Varaha is his rescue of Goddess Earth, or Bhudevi.
• According to legend, a powerful demon named Hiranyaksha emerged and began wreaking havoc on Earth. . He eventually captured the Earth and dragged it into the depths of the cosmic ocean, hiding it from the rest of the universe. Witnessing this chaos, Lord Vishnu decided to intervene to restore balance and protect the earth. He took the form of a boar, known as Varahar, and descended into the cosmic ocean to rescue the Earth and defeat Hiranyaksha. As Varahar dived deep into the ocean, he encountered Hiranyaksha and engaged in a fierce battle with him. The battle lasted for a long time, with the boar form of Lord Vishnu displaying immense strength and power. Eventually, Varahar managed to overpower and defeat Hiranyaksha, rescuing the Earth from his clutches.
• Afterward, Varahar lifted the Earth out of the cosmic ocean with his tusks and placed it back into its rightful position in the universe. This act of rescuing the earth symbolises Lord Vishnu\'s role as the preserver and protector of creation.
• Worshipping Lakshmi Varahar during Navaratri can bring a range of benefits to the devotees.
• Lakshmi Varahar is a traditional Kolu bommai, crafted with lightweight paper mache. Each piece is meticulously painted by artisans.
• Decorate your Kolu Padi with this unique collection of Golu bommai for this Navarathri from Giri.
• This Dassara doll is an excellent gift for festivals such as Navaratri, Diwali, and housewarmings.
• During Navaratri, people visit each other\'s homes to see the Golu display and offer prayers. It is considered an auspicious time to seek blessings from the Divine and to celebrate the victory of good over evil.
