In 1966 Eigil Jensen designed a series of jewelry for Anton Michelsen called \"Rainbow\" because of its patinated and gilded sections of silver pins. The repeating sections of silver, blackened silver, yellow gilding, and red gilding create a rythmic pattern that circles the wrist.
Eigil Jensen (1917-2002) was a goldsmith who worked for Hans Hansen in the late\'30\'s and early \'40\'s, followed by a long career at Anton Michelsen where he worked from 1943 -1985 (during which time Michelsen merged with the Georg Jensen silversmithy).
