Our Kona Laurina Pointu (Also known as a Bourbon Pointu), is a low caffeine, dwarf variety that is one of the most rare coffees in the world. It grows more like a bush with multiple branches. The leaves, cherries, and beans are smaller and more pointy-oval shaped - hence the name Pointu!

The Laurina Pointu Variety is a natural mutation of the Bourbon side of Arabica. It was first discovered on the tiny island of Reunion Island, just off of Madagascar. Once thought extinct, it was rediscovered and eventually brought to Hawaii.
