Each bag made from retired saddles is a one of a kind piece. The various saddle pieces serves as a beautiful picture story book. These projects allow the saddle owner to transform a retired saddle into something they can continue to use, or they can pass it along to someone else.
This cross body bag is entirely hand stitched, utilizing some of the brass hardware I could salvage along with saddle straps used both to close the bag and serve as the cross body strap.
The bag measures approximately 12 inches across (at its widest point), 9.5 inches tall and 2.5 inches deep. The inside of the bag has two separate compartments, allowing for a bit of organizing.
