The difference lies in their nutrient composition and benefits due to slight variations in the fatty acid profiles and the sources of the tallow. Bison tallow tends to have a higher ratio of omega-3 fatty acids. The higher omega-3 content in bison tallow makes it a strong anti-inflammatory ingredient, especially beneficial for irritated, inflamed, or red skin. Omega-3s help calm conditions like acne, rosacea, eczema, and general skin irritation. This makes bison tallow a good option for sensitive or reactive skin.

If your item arrives a little soft or melted, just pop it in the fridge for a bit and it’ll firm back up. No harm done!
