Crafted in Italy from durable marble-based resin, each figure is meticulously hand-sculpted and hand-painted by skilled artisans. The marble-based composition provides substantial weight and heirloom durability while preserving fine facial features and garment detail.

For over a century, the Fontanini Nativity tradition has flourished in Bagni di Lucca, Italy, where Emanuele Fontanini opened his first workshop in 1908. Today, that legacy continues through a multi-generational, family-guided process of sculpting, molding, and hand painting.
