Description

* Striking late 1950s early 1960s pink cotton sundress

* Design features white polka dots

* Classic silhouette with cinched waist and full skirt

* Sleeveless bodice with with sweetheart neckline and wide shoulder straps

* Very full skirt with large applied pockets to each side

* Decorative reverse fabric piping  (white with pink polka dots) at bodice and pockets

* Unlined, serged seams with machined hemline

* Low back with buttons to attach straps

* Side metal zipper (please note closed seam above zipper)

Condition 

Generally excellent vintage condition.

This dress is in great condition for its age, although it has a couple of minor issues. It is slightly faded but you can only tell by comparing it with hidden fabric. You cannot tell at all when worn. There is a tiny alteration at the tip of the bodice (shown in the last photo) where it was taken in slightly but you would never know. Two tiny pin dot spots at the base of one pocket again hardly noticeable. Front darts partially let out near waist. Please note everything I have mentioned is minor and do not  detract from the presentation or wearability of this beautiful dress, but nevertheless I have priced it accordingly. Shown with a ribbon belt and crinoline for demonstration purposes only. 

These are vintage items that have been used and loved over the years, As such, they may display slight evidence of their age. Any notable flaws above and beyond this will be highlighted here.
