HOT ! Petite Early 20th Century Rococo Style Carved Oak Wall Console - 22\" x 13½\"

A petite French oak wall console from the early 20th century, carved in the Rococo style. Richly ornamental in character, it features a serpentine top above openwork C-scrolls, acanthus leaves, and a floral medallion to the stretcher, all supported by graceful cabriole-style legs ending in scrolled feet. The oak displays a warm nut-brown tone with a soft sheen, while the reverse retains its original iron mounting element for wall installation. Honest surface wear to the top, with light rubbing and subtle marks from age and use, contributes to its authentic antique character. The oak has developed a naturally aged patina and would benefit from a light waxing to enrich the wood and revive its depth of tone.
