This bracelet is made of glazed porcelain with 925 Sterling findings.

The central Kitten (largest) is approx 3/4\" diameter.  The bracelet is 7 1/2 inches in length. 

     These porcelain kittens are formed by hand and hand-painted with underglaze designs before being fired in a kiln for the first time to the \"bisque\" stage.  As bisque, the clay is still fragile, but is now a bit more durable and won\'t dissolve if I get it wet.  I sand away any initial rough spots, and then apply clear protective glaze before firing them to around 2200*F.  The kiln can take a couple of days to go from room temperature to 2200*F and back to room temperature.  Then I give them a final sanding and polishing and they are ready for me to add the metal components, package them up, and send them out into the world.  It\'s a lengthy process, full of love, and closely supurrvised by Sage Catling, my Studio Supurrvisor Extraordinaire!
