An elegant early 20th century French Louis XVI style extendable dining table sourced in Provence, France. Crafted from walnut, the table features a refined neoclassical silhouette with straight fluted legs, tapered feet, and crisply carved rosette blocks at each corner. The table has been structurally revised, refinished, and polished in our restoration workshop. It is solid, stable, and ready for everyday use. The walnut retains a warm, luminous tone with light character marks consistent with age and use. The apron is decorated with molded panels and a central ribbon-and-garland motif characteristic of the Louis XVI revival. The parquetry top displays a geometric veneer pattern framed by a mitered border, adding visual richness while maintaining a restrained, architectural presence. The table extends with two pull-out end leaves, allowing for flexible use in both compact and larger dining spaces. Its proportions are particularly well suited to apartments or narrower rooms while still comfortably seating a full party when extended.
