Detailed information on Case Study® Tenon Table
Designed by Modernica Studio in 2004, the Case Study® Tenon series is constructed with twenty-six layers of the highest-quality hardwoods. The strength and resilience of the Tenon series is achieved with Modernica’s own unique T-shaped, internal mortise and tenon joint design. Each foot of the table is capped with a detail of horizontal plies, providing added protection for the life of the table.
The Case Study Tenon Series is available in North American maple or walnut veneer. Each leg is hand-fitted in traditional woodworking fashion for a precise fit. The legs are removable for easy shipping or storage.
The Case Study Tenon Table was an official selection of the 2005 California Design Biennial at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. The Design Biennial showcases innovations in product design and architecture.
